Explore the stunning scenery of the Rhine valley at this festive time on our new cruise itinerary. Our cruise begins in Cologne and gently meanders along the Rhine to Koblenz, at the confluence of the fascinating Rhine and Moselle rivers. We visit Rüdesheim where you can see the Loreley rock before we return to the exuberant city of Cologne. With so many sights to see this will prove to be a real celebratory cruise.

Holiday Itinerary by Coach
December 29 UK to Cologne - To Dover for the ferry crossing to Calais, from where we continue our journey across to Germany. We join the MPS Rotterdam in Cologne late evening.
December 30 Cologne to Koblenz - A morning cruise takes us to Koblenz, considered the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Surrounded by 4 beautiful upland regions, the city is situated on the banks of the Rhine and the Moselle.
New Years Eve Koblenz to Rüdesheim - We continue today to Rudesheim, set in the varied countryside between the gently rolling Taunus hills and the rugged Loreley Valley, surrounded by a wide expanse of vineyards. The Niederwald country park in the hills above Rüdesheim has numerous vantage points with spectacular views of the Rhine Valley, making it a fantastic place to visit. This evening we celebrate with a New Year Eve Dinner, with a glass of Champagne at midnight to welcome the New Year.
New Years Day Rüdesheim to Cologne - We awake on New Years Day and begin our return journey North to Cologne, Cologne is an exuberant and contrast-packed city with something for night owls and culture fans alike. Dominated by its mighty cathedral, Cologne is Germany’s fourth largest city offering a very interesting contradiction of historic and very modern. This evening our celebration continues with a Special New Year’s Captains Gala Dinner, a great start to 2010.
January 2 Cologne to UK - A deluxe buffet brunch is served this morning before it’s time to leave the festivities behind as we travel across to Calais for our ferry crossing to Dover, from where we return home late evening.
Holiday Itinerary by Rail
December 29 London St Pancras to Cologne - We meet at St Pancras station and join the Eurostar service to Brussels. At Brussels we change trains and join the Thalys service onwards to Cologne. We then make the short transfer to join our ship. Relax and enjoy the facilities on board or explore the Vibrant city of Cologne.
December 30 to New Years Day - See Holiday Itinerary by Coach December 30 to New Years Day
January 2 Cologne to London St Pancras - A deluxe buffet brunch is served this morning before it’s time to leave the festivities behind and Time to say goodbye and take the short transfer to Cologne station to join the Thalys service to Brussels. At Brussels we change on to the Eurostar service to London St Pancras
Travel by Rail is based on standard class travel. Upgrades to leisure select on Eurostar and onwards in First Class on the Thalys, upgrade from £90 per person one way.
