Holiday Itinerary by Air
Day 1 UK to Kyle of Lochalsh - Make your own way to your chosen airport for the flight to Inverness. Transfer arranged to join your ship at Kyle of Lochalsh and enjoy the Captain’s welcome reception and dinner.
Day 2 Kyle of Lochalsh to Inverie - A morning drive to the gardens at Inverewe followed by an afternoon sail around Loch Alsh, Kyle Rhea and the Sound of Sleat to Inverie in beautiful Loch Nevis.
Day 3 Inverie to Armadale - Morning sail to Armadale on the Isle of Skye and an afternoon visit to the nearby Clan Donald Centre and Gardens.
Day 4 Armadale to Tobermory - Morning sail around mainland Britain’s most westerly point – Ardnamuchan Point and on to the Isle of Mull and Tobermory for an afternoon free to enjoy at your leisure.
Day 5 Tobermory to Craignure - We sail to Craignure and alight for the drive to the spiritual Isle of Iona followed by a visit to Duart Castle.
Day 6 Craignure to Oban - We journey across Loch Linnhe to Oban to enjoy a guided walking tour and trip to the local whisky distillery.
Day 7 Oban to Banavie - We voyage the length of majestic Loch Linnhe to Corpach, the entrance to the Caledonian Canal, and ascend ‘Neptune’s Staricase’ to Banavie in the shadow of Ben Nevis.
Day 8 Banavie to Laggan - A morning drive to beautiful Glencoe, followed by a cruise along Loch Lochy to Laggan Locks, in the wilds of the Highlands.
Day 9 Laggan to Fort Augustus - A sail along ‘Laggan Avenue’ and Loch Oich to Kytra Locks and Fort Augustus where the vessel is lowered on a series of lochs to the shores of Loch Ness.
Day 10 Fort Augustus to Inverness - Morning sail across Loch Ness pausing approximately halfway in front of Urquhart Castle before entering Loch Dochfour and Inverness. Afternoon visit to Fort George, Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield and a tour of the city followed by the evening’s Captain’s farewell dinner.
Day 11 Inverness to UK - Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Inverness airport for the flight home.
