Ideally located to enjoy the best of Bavarian and Tyrolean countryside, the small village of Lecheschau is just over the border from Bavaria and at the gates of the Austrian Tyrol. This is also an ideal location from which we can travel to Oberammergau and experience the powerful Passion Play.

Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 After crossing to Calais, we travel in to Belgium for our overnight stay in Liege.
Day 2 After breakfast, we journey south through Germany, for our evening arrival in Lecheschau in the Austrian tyrol.
Day 3 to 6 At leisure in Lecheschau. During our stay we enjoy magical days out to the Bavarian capital of Munich, and the fairytale castles of ‘Mad’ King Ludwig, Neuschwanstein and Lindenhof.
Day 7 Leaving Lecheschau, we make the short journey to Oberammergau to enjoy time at leisure before the evening start of the awe inspiring Passion Play performance.
Day 8 Leaving Oberammergau, we travel northwards to Belgium for our overnight stay.
Day 9 To Calais, across to Dover, and then home.

Hotel Goldene Rose, Lechaschau
The Goldene Rose is less than one kilometre from the attractive centre of Reutte, in the small village of Lechaschau. The hotel's elegant restaurant, with its wooden carved ceiling and open fire, is comfortably furnished in typical style, creating an authentic Tyrolean atmosphere.
