Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Northern France - Across to Calais, then on to our overnight hotel. (D)
Day 2 Northern France to Remagen - We travel through Belgium, with a brief visit to the bustling city of Brussels, before heading to Germany and our hotel for five nights. (B,D)
Days 3 to 6 Remagen - A great base for exploring the Rhine Valley, Remagen is best known from the movie "The Bridge at Remagen". The town has many beautiful buildings, churches, castles and monuments and a good variety of shops. (B,D)
Day 7 Remagen to Northern France - Returning through Belgium and a stop in picturesque Ypres, then on to Northern France. (B,D)
Day 8 Northern France to UK - Calais, Dover, then home. (B)

Included excursions 
Full day Koblenz & Linz - A chance to discover the charming medieval town of Koblenz, where the Rhine meeds the Moselle, with its gothic churches and medieval bridge. Or take the cable car from the town centre to the fortress on the opposite side of the river. Then on to the riverside resort of Linz, an attractive town with colourful half-timbered houses and medieval moated castle.
Full day Cologne & Bonn - A day of discovery as we explore two of the Rhinelands most important cities. Firstly to Cologne, with its historic old town, imposing gothic cathedral and many shops, cafes and restaurants. Then on to Bonn, birthplace of Beethoven and home to the beautiful botanic gardens at Poppelsdorf Palace. This former capital of West Germany has a wealth of fascinating history to explore.
