Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Belgium - Across to Calais and then into Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Belgium to Assmannshausen - A trip on the Hunsrück railway to Boppard, then onto Assmannshausen. (B,D)
Days 3 to 6 Assmannshausen - Enjoy a variety of excursions from our base in Assmannshausen, with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses. (B,D) 
Day 7 Assmannshausen to Northern France - A chance to cruise the Rhine Gorge from Rüdesheim to Koblenz, before departing to France for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 8 Northern France to UK - Calais, Dover and homeward bound. (B)

Full day Rhine & Moselle Valleys - A day of scenic delights along the famous Rhine and Moselle rivers as we tour the valleys by coach. We visit the bustling riverside village of Cochem, with its impressive hilltop castle and enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Moselle. 
Full day Heidelberg - Visit historic Heidelberg, nestling below a castle on the River Neckar, this beautiful city is famed as the setting for ‘the Student Prince’ and boasts many original buildings from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. 
En route visit Hunsbruck Railway & Bacharach - A day of adventure as we cross the border into Germany and join the Hunsbruck Railway, ascending the Rhine Valley to Boppard, know as the "Pearl of the Rhine".  We also visit the old wine village of Bacharach.
