Full day Normandy Landing Beaches - A visit to the famous beaches that literally changed the course of the world and where the sense of history is inescapable. The beaches at Sword, Juno, Gold and Omaha the place where nearly 150,000 men descended to begin the liberation of Europe in June 1944. A museum behind the beach has exhibitions of weapons, uniforms, vehicles and tanks.
Half day Arromanches - A morning visit to the small village of Arromanches near Bayeaux, where the remains of the famous 7-mile Mulberry Harbour that was used to land vast amounts of men, tanks and other heavy equipment are still clearly visible. Like many towns in the area, there is also a DDay museum, in the village.
