Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Paris - We travel from Dover to Calais and then to the 4* Novotel Paris Charenton le Pont, our base for four nights.
Days 2 to 4 Paris - The ideal base for this short break, France’s capital city contains a wealth of breezy boulevards, impressive monuments, great works of art and endless night-time activities. The holiday includes time to explore the city and all its attractions. Alternatively, choose from our programme of optional excursions to make the most of your time in this fascinating city.
Day 5 Paris to UK - We depart Paris for our drive back to Calais, crossing to Dover, then home.

Full day Monet’s Garden and Versailles. - A trip to Normandy and the lovingly restored Monet's Garden at Giverny, source of as much pleasure today as it was to its creator. Here, where the painter lived until his death in 1929, the perspectives, symmetries and colours of the flower garden and water garden were the inspiration for some of his most famous works. The day continues with a visit to the royal town of Versailles, home to the simply exquisite palace and gardens created by King Louis XIV in the 17th century. No expense was spared in the creation of the sumptuously decorated palace, best known for its hall of mirrors, which was previously used for lavish celebrations. The 800-hectare gardens, one of France’s most visited attractions and a World Heritage Site, contain meticulously manicured lawns, colourful flowerbeds and masterfully sculptured statues and fountains.
