Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Antwerp - We journey to Antwerp in Belgium for our overnight stay.
Day 2 Antwerp to Hamburg - Across the border in to Germany and to Hamburg in time for dinner and an overnight stay at the Ramada Hamburg Bergedorf (3*), located just outside the city.
Day 3 Hamburg to Malmö - Firstly, from Hamburg to Puttgarden where we join the ferry to Rødby in Denmark, and then continue our journey to the Swedish city of Malmö for dinner and an overnight stay at the Quality Hotel Konserthuset (3*).
Day 4 Malmö to Stockholm - From Malmö we make our way to the Swedish capital, the delightful city of Stockholm which is over 700 years old, and spreads across 14 islands as it faces proudly out to the Baltic Sea. Enjoy time sightseeing, before joining our overnight ferry service to Helsinki. Accommodation is in two berth cabins with private facilities, and dinner and breakfast are included on board. As there’s no access to the coach during the overnight crossing, you’ll need an overnight bag with any necessary essentials.
Day 5 Helsinki to St Petersburg - This morning we arrive in to Helsinki in Finland, then we head to the Russian border, and make our way south east to the magnificent city of St Petersburg. We stay for four nights in the Park Inn Pribaltiskaya (4*), which enjoys a prime location on the Gulf of Finland, and just ten minutes drive from the centre of St Petersburg. Day 6 St Petersburg - At leisure in St Petersburg, or why not join our optional excursion to the Peterhof Palace?
Day 7 St Petersburg - Today discover the magic of St Petersburg on our guided tour which will introduce you to the famous landmarks, history and culture of the city. We will see spectacular St Issacs Cathedral, the Winter Palace, the Peter and Paul fortress, and the magnificent Church of our Saviour on Spilled Blood. In the afternoon, explore the Hermitage, housing one of the greatest art collections in the world, with your included entrance ticket.
Day 8 St Petersburg - Relax and enjoy the leisure facilites of our hotel, or join the optional excursion.
Day 9 St Petersburg to Moscow - We journey from St Petersburg southwards to Moscow, for our three night stay at the Hotel Cosmos (3*). We stop en route for an included lunch.
Day 10 Moscow - Enjoy an included guided tour of Moscow, the biggest city in the world’s largest country. See the Kremlin and St Basil’s Cathedral, the magnificent Red Square, home of Lenin’s Tomb and the annual May Day Military Parade, Gum department store, and Gorky Park, a meeting place for Muscovites.Kremlin, Moscow
Day 11 Moscow - A day at leisure to seek out your favourite sights, or join an optional excursion to the Moscow armoury and the metro, or in the evening to the Moscow State Circus.
Day 12 Moscow to Daugavpils, Latvia - Leaving Moscow behind, we journey west to the Latvian city of Daugavpils for our overnight stay at the Hotel Latgola (3*).
Day 13 Daugavpils to Gdansk - We journey from Latvia, over the border in to Poland, to Gdansk, located on the Baltic coast, for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 14 Gdansk to Berlin - We continue across Poland, and in to Germany, to the magnificent capital Berlin, where we stay at the Ramada Globus Berlin (3*) for dinner and an overnight stay. In the evening there is an opportunity to join a Berlin by Night tour, where you can see some of the iconic landmarks, such as the Brandenburg Gate.
Day 15 Berlin to Antwerp - Pass through Germany and in to Belgium and head to Antwerp for dinner and our last overnight.
Day 16 Antwerp to UK - From Antwerp to Calais, for the ferry to Dover and then home.
