Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Depart UK Across the Channel from Dover to Calais, settle down for the night as we travel through France, Belgium and Germany.
Day 2 Arrive Zakopane Through Germany and into the south of Poland, arriving in Zakopane for dinner and our six night stay. (D)
Days 3 to 7 Zakopane Our programme of included and optional excursions has been designed to show you the best of the area and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy Zakopane itself, including the local market. (B,D)
Day 8 Depart Zakopane We return through the Polish countryside and travel overnight through Germany. (B)
Day 9 Arrive UK Through Belgium and France, ferry from Calais to Dover and then home.

Included Excursions
Half Day Zakopane Admire the pine-clad slopes of the surrounding mountains, the fresh, clean air and the quaint wooden houses so popular in this region, in one of Poland’s major resorts, on our guided introduction tour of Zakopane. We introduce you to some of the sights, such as the daily market with traditional handicrafts and the lively main street, at the beginning of your stay and you can then explore at leisure during the remainder of your holiday.
Full Day Krakow Krakow’s main market square is the largest medieval centre in Europe, with its Cloth Hall, topped with gargoyles, St. Mary’s Church and the Town Hall Tower. Climb Wawel Hill to visit the magnificent castle or browse around the shops beneath the Cloth Hall. Explore at leisure or join an optional guided city tour.
Hotel Czarny Potok Zakopane
Located just five minutes’ walk from the main street of Zakopane, the Czarny Potok is a very comfortable hotel, with a homely atmosphere and a good standard of accommodation. Built in the traditional style of the area, there is a pleasant garden to relax in and a nice lounge/bar.
