Holiday itinerary
Day 1 UK to Assmannshausen - Accross to Calais and onto Assmannshausen for a late arrival.
Days 2 to 5 Assmannshausen - Enjoy our programme of included and optional excursions, from a great base in Assmannshausen, with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses. Shearings customers have enjoyed staying at the Theinstein Boppestubche for a number of years. (B,L,D)
Day 6 Assmannshausen to Northern France - We bid farewell to the Rhine and retrace our steps to Northern France for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 7 Northern France to UK - Calais, Dover, then home. (B)

Included excursions 
Full day Koblenz & Wiesbaden - Your chance to visit this exciting town where the Rhine meets the Moselle. A World Heritage Site, Koblenz is stooped in medieval history and marks the northern end of the Rhine Gorge. A new cable car connects the town centre to the Fortress on the opposite side of the river. We then continue on to hisoric Wiesbaden, dating back to Roman times and well known as a maja Spa city, due to its hot springs. Admire the historical quarter, glorious architecture and Biebrich Palace.
Full day Heidelberg - A visit to the romanic city of Heidelberg, home of the oldest University in Germany, established in 1835. This beautiful city is famed as the setting for "the Student Prince" and boasts many original buildings from the Middle Ages and Renaissance.

Ideally located in the centre of Assmannshausen, the hotel is under the personal supervision of owners Katja and Uwe, who offer a warm and friendly welcome.
