Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach, then onwards overnight towards Italy.
Day 2 Early afternoon arrival on Lake Garda. Afternoon at leisure. (D)
Day 3 Lake Garda - To discover the ambience and charm of Lake Garda, our included lake tour will visit some of the most picturesque villages which nestle on the shore. From Sirmione, you can enjoy an optional cruise. What better way to see this most beautiful lake? (B,D)
Day 4 Venice - Today's optional excursion takes us the the wonderful floating city of Venice. Enjoy the famous sights including St. Mark's Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Dodges' Palace. (B,D)
Day 5 Bolzano and the Renon Pyramids - Accompanied by a guide, enjoy our spectacular optional excursion through the Aidge Valley to the charming town of Bolzano, the ‘little pearl’ of Italy’s Süd Tirol, with its Gothic cathedral and narrow cobbled streets. We climb aboard the area’s longest cable car for a panoramic journey to Soprabolzano. Then switching to a quaint old train, we then travel through forests and fields, admiring the views of the surrounding peaks. Upon arriving at Collalbo, our coach takes us to Longomasso, from where we walk to the famous earth pyramids on the Renon plateau (this may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties), before returning by coach to our hotel. Please note: if you do not wish to take the cable car you can travel by coach to Collalbo. (B,D)
Day 6 Verona - Our final included excursion is to the fine, historic town of Verona, famed as the setting for Shakespeare's romantic tragedy ‘Romeo and Juliet’. On our optional guided walking tour reveals its many charms; admire the 1st century arena, home to the prestigious Verona Opera Festival, which dominates the main square and the fine palaces, churches and monuments, adorning its alleyways and squares. (B,D)
Day 7 Free time - Enjoy free time on Lake Garda before your overnight journey north.(B)
Day 8 To Calais and return home.

Your hotel
You will stay for five nights at the 3-star Hotel Bristol in Riva del Garda or similar. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift and outdoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone.
