Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to northern France for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Continue south to Lake Garda for a three-night stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Lake Garda - A full-day excursion along the shores of Lake Garda. We will stop at some of the picturesque villages on this shoreline, including Sirmione, from where you can take an optional cruise on the lake. (B,D)
Day 4 Venice - Join our optional excursion to to Venice with its maze of ornate bridges, weaving canals and elegant Byzantine and Renaissance architecture. (B,D)
Day 5 Siena - We leave Lake Garda and call in at Siena, a picturesque Tuscan medieval town, listed as an UNESCO World Heritage site. Piazza del Campo is one of the most famous squares in the world. Afterwards we continue to Fiuggi near Rome for a three-nights stay. (B,D)
Day 6 Rome - Included visit to the "eternal city". Our optional guided sightseeing tour by coach and on foot will introduce the city's wonderful sights, including the Colosseum, Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountain. (B,D)
Day 7 Sorrento or Capri - A day of choices. Join our optional visit to the popular Neapolitan resort town of Sorrento where you will have free time. Alternatively you can join our optional guided visit to the picturesque Isle of Capri where you will have time to explore its many sights and take in some fabulous scenic views. (B,D)
Day 8 Florence - En route from Fiuggi to our overnight stay in Montecatini Terme, Tuscany, we visit Florence, which is rich in architectural splendour. To get the most from your visit join our optional guided sightseeing tour. (B,D)
Day 9 Pisa - Included visit to Pisa, famed for its Leaning Tower, with optional sightseeing, then travel on to Lake Maggiore for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 10 Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands - Optional excursion touring around the southern shores of Lake Maggiore to the lakeside town of Baveno, where we board a boat for the short transfer to the picturesque and beautiful Borromean Islands. . (B,D)
Day 11 To the Paris outskirts for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 12 To Calais then return home. (B)

Your hotels
You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel Centrale in Torbole or similar on Lake Garda; three nights at a 3-star hotel in the spa town of Fiuggi, south of Rome, overnight at a 3-star hotel in Montecatini, Tuscany; then two nights at a 3-star hotel in Ispra on Lake Maggiore.  Overnight stays in the northern France and Paris area will be in city-style hotels.
