Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to the Paris area for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Continue to Spain for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Barcelona - Full-day included visit to Barcelona. Our optional guided Barcelona sightseeing tour takes in many of the city's stunning sights, such as Gaudi's Sagradia Familia before we set sail for Majorca on the overnight ferry with  accommodation in en-suite cabins. (B)
Day 4 Arrive in Palma - Morning arrival in Palma and transfer to our hotel for a six-night stay. Cala d'Or still has the feeling of a small village, with shops, restaurants and bars and several sandy coves and beaches. Here you can relax and enjoy our included and optional excursions to discover the island. (D)
Day 5 Pollenca and Cabo de Formentor - Included excursion exploring the north of the island. In the ancient town of Pollenca, wander the picturesque, mediaval streets lined with ochre-coloured stone houses, and the bustling main square. The We then drive along the stunning Cabo de Formentor Road, Majorca's most beautiful peninsula, where flowered terraces look out over the glistening blue waters of the Meditarranean . We also make a short stop in the popular resort of Port de Pollenca and Alcudia. (B,D)
Day 6 Palma - Optional excursion to Palma. Its huge Gothic cathedral overlooks the waterfront and the city boasts wide, palm-lined promenades, dotted with pavement cafes. Our guided sightseeing tour will show you the main highlights. (B,D)
Day 7 Free full day in resort. (B,D)
Day 8 La Costa Rocosa - Today's optional excursion explores La Costa Rocosa (the Rocky Coast). We head to Camp de Mar then through the mountains past Estellenchs, a true tast of the real Majorca, facing the sea and backed by the peaks of the Tramuntana Mountains. We continue to the old mountain town of Valldemossa. (B,D)
Day 9 Arta Market, Coves del Drac, Manacor - Today's included excursion takes us first to Arta, where you can  browse the weekly market, then to the  legendary Coves del Drac (Dragon's Cave) where entrance is included. A flight of steps throuth the caves leads to to one of the largest underground lakes in the world, with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. Visitors are accompanied by the sound of musicians performing classical music, every hour on a boat. We later head inland to Manacor, where they produce excellent cultured pearls, regarded as some of the best in the world. . (B,D)
Day 10 Sailing to Barcelona - We leave Majorca ans sail to Barcelona. Although this is a day crossing (sailing time approx 8hrs), cabins area available to reserve for a supplement (£38pp twin cabin; £78 single cabin). Arrive in Barcelona and travel to overnight hotel on the Costa del Maresme. (B,D)
Day 11 To northern France or the Paris area for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 12 To Calais, then return home. (B)

Your hotels

You’ll stay for six-nights at the 3-star Barcelo Hotel Ponet Playa in Cala d'Or on Majorca's east coast. The hotel faces the sea and beaches and has a swimming pool, restaurant, bar and all bedrooms have air-conditioning. The resort centre is only 20-minutes walk from the hotel. Overnight stays in Spain will be at one of the 3-star Grup Florida Hotels. Accommodation in 2-berth en-suite cabins is included on the overnight ferry from Barcelona to Palma (no meals are included on the ferry crossings). Overnight stays in Paris/northern France will be in city-style hotels.
