Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Berlin - We continue to Berlin for an overnight stay. Our optional evening sightseeing tour takes in Berlin’s historical centre, including the cathedral, Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall. (B)
Day 3 To Warsaw, Poland, for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 4 Warsaw - Discover the history and major sights on our optional guided sightseeing tour of this remarkable city, almost obliterated during the Second World War but then rebuilt in only 13 years. (B,D)
Day 5 To Vilnius, Lithuania, for a two-night stay. (B,D)
Day 6 Vilnius - Included guided walking tour through the Old Town area, one of the largest in Europe and an UNESCO World Heritage site. Its buildings, monuments and architecture represent various styles and eras. In the afternoon you can enjoy an optional tour to the island castle of Trakai, formerly a major political and administrative centre in Lithuania, which has been restored during the 20th century and now houses the Trakai History Museum. Day 7 To Riga, Latvia, for a one-night stay. (B,D)
Day 8 Riga - Included visit to Riga. Once known as the ‘small Paris’, Riga is a delightful mixture of medieval ambience and a modern metropolis. Our optional guided walking tour reveals the many sights. We continue to Tallinn, Estonia for a two night stay. (B,D)
Day 9 Tallin - Our included half-day walking tour with local guide will help you to see the major sights, including the Town Hall, one of the oldest in Europe, St. Nicholas Church, Toompea Palace and the old city walls. Afternoon at leisure to explore independently. (B,D)
Day 10 Helsinki - By ferry to Helsinki, Finland where you will have some free time before departing to Stockholm, Sweden on the overnight ferry. (B)
Day 11 Arrive Stockholm, then travel to Copenhagen, Denmark, for a one-night stay. (B,D)
Day 12 Copenhagen - Included guided sightseeing tour. With our Danish guide, we will see this 'wonderful' city, including the statue of the Little Mermaid, the Royal Theatre and Christiansborg Castle. We then move on to Rodbyhavn for the ferry to Puttgarden, Germany. Continue to our hotel in northern Germany for an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 13 To Belgium for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 14 To Calais then return home. (B)

You’ll spend one night at the 3-star Hotel Grunau on the outskirts of Berlin; two nights at the 3-star Hotel MDM or similar in Warsaw; two nights at the 3-star Hotel Karolina or similar in Vilnius; one night at the 3-star Hotel Baltpark or similar in Riga; two nights at the 3-star Park Inn Central or similar in Tallinn; overnight on the cruise ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm in a 2-berth cabin and one night at the 3-star Glostrup Park Hotel in Copenhagen. Overnight stays in northern Germany and Belgium are in city-style hotels.
