Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Mohne Dam - En route to Hannover for our four night stay we visit the Mohne Dam, the famous "Dambusters" dam where the "bouncing" bombs were dropped during World War II. (B,D)
Day 3 Goslar and Harz Mountains - A full-day included tour to the picturesque Harz Mountains. We head first to the former Imperial city of Goslar, renowned for its romantic old town and fortress, then enjoy a scenic drive and discover some of the hidden treasures of the Harz region including Lake Okersee and the delightful town of Braunlage. Day 4 Free time - A day free to relax and enjoy the pleasures of Hannover, with its wealth of shops and charming centre with picturesque buildings. (B,D)
Day 5 Fairytale Road and Hamelin - Today's optional excursion firstly visits the impressive city of Kassel. Wander through the medieval city centre or visit the breathtaking Wilhemshohe Park, which overlooks the city and is graced by wonderful landscaped gardens, a palace and cascading waterfalls. We continue along the Fairytale Road to Hamelin. This quaint town is famous for the Pied Piper tale told to children around the world. The old town centre has been reconstructed with renaissance and half-timbered buildings, all adding to the fairytale atmosphere. (B,D)
Day 6 To Belgium for an overnight stay. (D)
Day 7 To Calais then return home. (B)

Your hotels
You’ll stay for four nights at the 4-star Hotel Ramada Britannia Hannover. The hotel offers a restaurant, cosy bar and terrace.  All bedrooms have satellite TV., telephone, radio, hairdryer and air-conditioning. The hotel has a sauna and steam bath.  Overnight stays in Belgium will be in city-style hotels.
