Day 2 Travel south and across the Alps to our hotel in the Italian Dolomites for a five-night stay. B,D

Excursions and visits
Merano (optional, included on Silver Service). Join us as we travel through beautiful castle-clad mountains, to the spa town of Merano, famous for the therapeutic properties of its waters.
Brenta Dolomites (included). Boasting rugged scenery, jagged peaks and stunning lakes, the Brenta Dolomites are not to be missed. We spend time in the ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio, before visiting the holiday resort of Andalo.
Venice (optional); Venice Lagoon Cruise (optional). Explore Venice’s maze of bridges and canals, then admire the Bridge of  Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and the Doges’ Palace. Perhaps join an optional Venice lagoon cruise, which offers a completely different view of the city. The city of Venice combines Byzantine and Renaissance architecture, throught its 118 islands. The maginficent buildings, surrounded by the bridges and canals are a sign of the city's former and continuing wealth and prosperity.
Trento (optional). Sweeping mountains and undulating valleys lead us to Trento, the most attractive town in Trentino and home of the spectacular Piazza del Duomo, once used by the Romans as their forum.

Your hotels
You’ll stay for five nights in the 3-star Hotel Lady Maria, ideally located in the centre of Fondo, close to Lake Smeraldo. The hotel has a lift, bar and restaurant. All bedrooms have T.V.,  telephone, hairdryer and a safety deposit box. On some departures you may be accommodated in the sister hotel, the Panorama in neighbouring Malosco. Both hotels are owned by the Bonvicin family who have been welcoming Leger guests for many years.

Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels .
