Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure then to Bruges for a three or four-night stay.
Day 2 Bruges & Ypres - Included morning in Bruges, with its canals, cobbled streets and shops selling the famous Belgian chocolate on almost every corner! This afternoon, why not join our optional excursion to Ypres.  See the market square, dominated by the huge Cloth Hall, with its magnificent belfry. We return to Bruges after the Last Post Memorial at the Menin Gate held every night at 8pm. (B)
Day 3 Brussels - Full-day included visit to Brussels. Experience a thousand years of history in Belgium’s cosmopolitan capital. Our optional guided sightseeing tour takes in the Royal Palace of Laeken and St. Michael’s Cathedral, before arriving at the historic Grand Place – a market square with splendid guild houses and an impressive Gothic town hall. The rest of the day is at leisure, before we return to our hotel in Bruges. (B)
Day 4 Ghent (5-day break only) - Today you can enjoy an optional visit to Ghent (included on Silver Service). Affectionately known as the ‘Flower Capital of Belgium’, Ghent is a city of great elegance, boasting a wonderful legacy of medieval architecture and imposing monuments. (B)
Day 4 (4-day break) or Day 5 (5-day break) Ostend - En route to Calais for our return journey home we make an included visit to Ostend, the 'Queen of Belgium’s seaside resorts'. Ostend gained its resort-town popularity from the Belgian Kings, Leopold I and II, who faithfully spent their summers here. A stroll along the promenade offers views of the Royal monuments and other historical sights. (B)

Your hotel
You’ll stay for three or four-nights at the 3-star Hotel Olympia in Bruges. This friendly family-owned hotel has been popular with Leger guests for many years and has been refurbished. It is within walking distance of local shops and the historic centre of Bruges and has a lift, bar and breakfast room. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and a safe.
