Your holiday itinerary
Day 1 Local departure by coach then onwards for an overnight stay on the outskirts of Paris.
Day 2 Continue south to Calella for a four or five-night stay. (B,D)
Day 3 Costa Brava Coastal Tour - Discover the resorts of the Costa Brava on our included excursion visiting Tossa de Mar, a typical Catalan coastal town, Lloret de Mar, the busiest and liveliest resort on the coast, and Blanes, once known for its lace. (B,L,D)
Day 4 Barcelona - Enjoy a full-day included excursion to the stunning Catalan capital.  Join our optional guided sightseeing tour to see the main sights including Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral, the Olympic Stadium, and ‘Las Ramblas’,a pedestrianised street, lined with outdoor markets, shops, restaurants and cafés. (B,L,D)
Day 5 Montserrat - Today's optional excursion is to Montserrat. Set amidst amazing scenery, the monastery attracts pilgrims to the famous 12th-century black statue of the Virgin. The chapels, beautiful Basilica and often-turbulent history make this a fascinating place to visit. (B,L,D)
Day 6 To the outskirts of Paris for an overnight stay. (B)
Day 8 To Calais and return home. (B)

April departures are for 8-days with an extra night in Spain on an all-inclusive basis and an extra optional excursion as follows:
Girona - Join our optional excursion to the ancient walled town of Girona, the ‘city of 1000 sieges’ with its cathedral and old shopping area. Roman ruins can be found throughout the city, but are most impressive at the Passeig Arqueologic (archeological walk), which follows the original Roman rampart. (B,L,D)

Your hotels
You’ll stay for four or five nights at the 3-star Hotel Volga in the coastal resort town of Calella. The hotel, popular with Leger guests for many years now, is in the centre of town and close to the beach. The hotel has a lift, bar, restaurant, lounge and outdoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, safety deposit box, hairdryer, air-conditioning and central heating.  The hotel provides a regular entertainment programme during the day and evening. Overnight stays in the Paris area are in city-style hotels.
